Dear Readers!

Dear Readers! This year, we have the great pleasure of celebrating EK’s 155th anniversary. It is a success story that goes back to 1867 with the founding of EDUARD KRONENBERG in Solingen. From its humble beginnings as a 'manufacturer of springs for pocket knives’ for the local cutlery industry, our family-owned company has steadily developed into a brand manufacturer that operates on a global scale and supplies stamped and plastic parts for applications in a wide variety of industries around the world.

The task of ensuring that our company has been able to stay in good shape over such a long period of time is as ambitious as it is challenging. Five generations of the Kronenberg family have accepted this responsibility – in times of major market upheavals in the period following two world wars and today, with global markets, worldwide competition, current corona pandemic and the dramatic war in Ukraine.

Together with our entire workforce, we are proud to be a part of this great achievement. And together we will also master the challenges that lie ahead. May we extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to all our employees, customers and business partners who have been instrumental in making EK’s 155th anniversary possible!
